Camping at Uprise 2026
Hello Campers of Uprise Festival 2026!
We are so excited you’re joining us for this unique experience of camping during the festival. We wanted to highlight some important information to ensure a fun and safe time for everyone.
Campsites: Sites are assigned ahead of time by the camping supervisor. Assignments are based on the equipment you are bringing, generator usage, putting groups together, special needs, and date of purchase.
Campsites are 20’ x 40’. There are no hookups (electric, water, sewer) so please plan accordingly. Since most sites are not completely level, please bring sufficient leveling materials. All equipment and vehicles must fit on your site. If your vehicle does not fit on your site, you can purchase camping overage parking from the camping staff, or park in the general parking area outside the main gate. All vehicles parked inside the fairgrounds must have a mirror tag.
A camping reservation is for 1 site for 3 nights and does not include General Admission. Everyone using your site must purchase a full event or one day ticket. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time or when you arrive.
Event Passes: Your General Admission passes, and extras that you purchased, can be picked up when you arrive at the Camping Gate (Pit Pass, Deck Seating, Pancakes, Praise &Devotions, Shower Pass, etc). If you did not purchase extras ahead of time, you will need to go to the main gate to purchase them. Food tokens must be picked up in the concessions area.
Check In: The camping gate is staffed from 9am - 9pm Friday and 9am - 7pm Saturday. If you are arriving outside these times, please make prior arrangements with the camping supervisor uprisecamping@gmail.com. Unless you have made previous arrangements with the camping supervisor, sites that are not claimed by Saturday 10:00 am will be considered unclaimed and resold if needed.
Check out: All Campers must vacate the fairgrounds by noon on Monday.
Arena Setup: You may not set up blankets or chairs in the arena until the main gates open at 12:00pm on Friday, and 9:00am on Saturday. Please do not leave canopies, blankets or chairs in the arena overnight, they are subject to removal. You may enter the arena and other Uprise areas from the gate on the top of the hill along Possum Hollow Road, in the “A” camping section or on the concessions side of the main stage only.
Bags and coolers are subject to search.
Quiet Hours: Please be respectful of other campers around you. Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM until 9:00 AM. Please do not bring loud generators. Inverter style generators are preferable.
Hot Showers: Shower passes can be purchased ahead of time or from camping staff. The shower trailer may only be used by those with a pass. An ADA shower is located behind the medical area.
Trash: All trash must be placed in one of the dumpsters. Please leave your site better than you found it.
Shippensburg Fairground Rules: No alcohol, drugs, smoking, or pets. No dumping of gray water. No ground fires. Other fires must be kept small.
Thank you so much for your cooperation. We hope you enjoy this year’s Festival.
